Dr. Fineberg led a national conversation, “Rethinking Researcher Assessment and Incentives at U.S. Academic Institutions” through workshops at the National Academies, and through his role at the Moore Foundation where he championed the MA3 Challenge for institutions pursuing bold, creative strategies to develop academic reward systems that foster a collaborative, responsive, and transparent research environment.
