The Committee on Policing is charged by President Salovey to review quantitative and descriptive data from the Yale Police Department and on policing more generally, to solicit input from members of the Yale and broader community, and to analyze how other communities have approached police reform. The committee has been asked to make suggestions regarding the continued implementation of the 21CP recommendations and to ensure that Yale’s public safety operations and policies are aligned with the mission.
